It Matters
DedalDev is more than just an outsourcing company ‒ it is also the proud owner of several startups. One of our notable startups is the mobile game 'It Matters'. This game's core mechanics are influenced by the physical laws that govern the behavior of elementary particles ‒ a realm of science that was largely unknown to humanity until a few decades ago. Even today, ongoing discoveries continue to shape our understanding in this fascinating field.
It Matters, the game, explores the intricate relationship between matter and antimatter. While our universe is primarily composed of matter, it also contains a significant presence of antimatter. But what if, for the sake of simplicity, we've adopted the notion that we are made of matter? Similar to the concept that light and darkness coexist, in this game, players step into the role of matter striving for growth and dominance, while antimatter poses an obstacle to that goal. Players have the opportunity to enhance their matter by collecting and upgrading fundamental particles like up and down quarks, electrons, and others, thus reducing damage upon contact with antimatter.
As you can see, DedalDev is a company that specializes in creating a wide range of applications using Flutter. Even when it comes to developing a mobile game, we embrace the challenge. This game is meticulously crafted entirely within the Flutter environment, including the game engine, which is written in Dart. We've harnessed cutting-edge engine optimization algorithms to ensure every aspect of the game runs with pinpoint precision, delivering smooth and lightning-fast gameplay. In fact, Flutter has provided us with frame rates exceeding 300 fps on select smartphones. Our achievement can be attributed to the robust state management system we employed, BloC, as well as the knowledge derived from the world's most esteemed software engineering programs, particularly principles of operating systems. This knowledge proved invaluable and instrumental in creating an ultra-optimized game engine.
